BGV-D8 Plus electric chain hoists can be supplied as stationary chain hoists or climbing hoists for 230 V, 400 V or even 480 V. BGV-D8 Plus chain hoists are permitted to be used by persons as long as the load is at a standstill. The devices are therefore primarily used in scenic operations such as film and theater productions, by trade fair equipment suppliers or in shopping malls and churches. In contrast to the hoists of the BGV D8 standard, the electric chain hoists of this standard have a second brake.
