The ChargeReel motorized cable reel is used to ensure the power supply via DC fast charging for your fleet of electrically powered commercial vehicles. The charging cable is wound and unwound in an orderly fashion. The cable is wound and unwound in a spiral.

Basically, the motorized charging reel consists of a reel body, a drive (electric motor) and a slip ring body.

The three-phase AC motor of the charging reel has geared limit switches, which are only used for motor control. The limit switches are preset for the “reel full” and “reel empty” states.
The control for the ChargeReel motor is located on the drive, is protected by a 3-way circuit breaker (10 A) and can be operated via an external radio remote control (pulse, 868 MHz).
